Quick firing field howitzer. It is the same 120mm quick-firing howitzer adopted by Bulgarian Army. Serbian Army ordered six four-pieces batteries of these howitzers in 1910-11 and received them during the Balkan war. In 1913 sixteen howitzers were allotted to 2nd Serbian Army and were used during the siege of Odrin. Two more batteries were ordered in 1912. Some of these howitzers were captured and used in the field by Bulgarian artillery during World War 1.

From October 1915 France delivered to the Serbian Army six batteries of the Obusiers de 120 mm modèle Schneider, ordered by the Bulgars after the Balkan Wars and seized by the French in August 1914.
