Remarks
: Slow firing mortar. In
1897 Serbian Army ordered six mortars. They arrived during the autumn of 1900
and were modernized to use smokeless powder (probably in 1906 or 1907). When
in 1910 new, modern howitzers were purchased, older M.97 series howitzers
were relegated to “Heavy Regiment of Fortress Artillery”. |
