Schneider-Canet 65mm light QF gun M. 1898

The Schneider-Canet 65mm L/60 gun, as a whole, embodied the same general arrangements as those of 47mm L/60 gun. They differed in the spindle parralel with the mounting bracket, and fitted with an endless screw that engaged a helicoidal wheel mounted on the same axis as the cylindrical pionion that engaged the toothed sector fitted to the jacket, and transmitted to the gun the required oscillation. As regards the inside pivot this gun was very similar to that of the 100mm L/60 gun.
