Remarks
: Quick firing mountain gun,
with hydro-pneumatic recoil system, swinging block breech mechanism, traverse
on axle. It was fitted for an independent line of sight. It was the standard
Schneider export mountain gun, and was supplied also to Italy and Spain as
their M. 1908. The Schneider mountain gun adopted by Bulgarian army was
essentially the same weapon, but adopted a 75mm calibre gun in order to
standardize the artillery. AFIK Bulgarian Army did
not use this gun in the field. |
