Raised as artillery regiment with Decree N° 75/19 June 1880

Raised with Decree N° 250/25 July 1883 from 1st division and 4th battery of the artillery regiment, the 8cm long range battery, and a new battery 

Attached to the Artillery Brigade in Sofia with Decree N° 176/1886
