Remarks
: The wooden wheels had
iron tyres, because of the lack or raw material caused by the blockade. For driving
on smooth or rough ground, the wheels were fitted with shovellike
grippers. With the help of a winch on the rear of the vehicle, the unhooked
gun trailer could be towed up grades of as much as 45°. During the First
World War 1070 of these tractors were manufactured and 855 were delivered to
the German Army before the end of the war. |
