Remarks : Quick
firing mountain gun, with hydro-pneumatic recoil system, swinging block
breech mechanism, traverse on axle. It was equipped with panorama sight, but was not
fitted for an independent line of sight. It used the same ammunition as the
Greek Danglis mountain gun (Schneider MPD). In 1913, Greece ordered 10
batteries of this gun, but 2 of them were seized at Marseille in November
1914 and sent to the Serbian Army. |
