26th Artillery Regiment

History

Raised on 30 November 1917 from two field artillery divisions with eleven position batteries of the Belomorska Otbrana (Field Army Order N° 1174):

1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd – 87mm not QF field batteries from 1^st heavy artillery regiment,

7^th and 8^th – 75mm not QF mountain batteries from 20^th artillery regiment,

10^th, 11^th, 12^th and 13^th – 87mm not QF field batteries from 10^th artillery regiment,

7^th and 8^th – 120mm position howitzers batteries from 1^st howitzers regiment
